GRAB A YABBY

Click to add a blog post for Grab A Yabby on Zomato

GRAB A YABBY - was it good? above average grin emoticon, but prices are obviously not entirely enticing. Do not try the LAVA WINGS - it burns from inside out, ruined my taste buds, if you're up for the challenge, tell them to put the bloody sauce on the side as a side dip (just in case you don't like it). Besides Moreton Bay bugs everything else was pretty fresh, their special sauce & XO sauce was good, not salty like the ones we've had in the U.S. Everything comes with corn and small rice, so no need to order any of that as side dishes, their garden salad complimented well with my burning mouth... they'll offer milk if you can't handle the heat

LAVA WINGS - YES BLOODY F**KING HOT

FRESH CLAMS IN XO - YUMMY, I RECKON I COULD HAVE EASILY FINISHED TWO POUNDS AND THIS WAS MY FAV SAUCE

YABBY IN THEIR SPECIAL SAUCE - FRESH AND GOOD TOO (VERY BUTTERY AND GARLICY

MORETON BAY BUGS - NOT SO FRESH, BUT SAUCE WAS GOOD

LOBSTER TAIL - WAS GETTING SO FULL, BUT IT WAS STILL PRETTY TASTY IN THEIR BUTTER SAUCE

Casual Saturday

I must admit, working on Saturday is a drainer, but keeping it comfy and casual gives it a positive vibe. There is no uniform at my work place, so I've decided to go casual smart on weekends. Typically this is my Saturday work OOTD:

White cable knit skivvy (Uniqlo) - check the link, it's currently on special, really warm and comfy fit

Tanned fitted blazer (H&M) - Bought this in Malaysia and love how it's so fitted to my petite body

Fitted super slim jeans - my favourite jeans are those I find in Vietnam, no alterations required, and this is one of them

Over-sized Coat - this is so "IN" this season, got this on my Taiwan trip at a random street wear shop for $50 AUD, it's my favourite find of the year, it certainly doesn't look and feel cheap.

Vintage black leather belt with gold hardware (Casual Corner) - I've been on the hunt for a good quality thrifty XS belt, and I found this on eBay last year for $20, unfortunately this label has gone bankrupt since 2005 :(

Vintage Stevens Bag with gold hardware - Made in Australia with genuine leather. A family friend was clearing out her closet (she's in her 60s, hence she's got a lot of vintage stuff), and she gave me this along with other bags. The bag fits all my necessities and wears comfortably to one side; yes also my beloved item at the moment. I like my other bags very much but it weighs me down after carrying them over a long period of time.

Lace On Lace

#OOTD
Top: button up white lace crop top (unknown brand)
Dress: Thurley navy lace dress
Shoes: Two toned Zara Heels

I really wanted to re-wear this old navy number again but because of my skinny stature I needed to find something that could cover up my collar bones... Which this white crop did nicely without covering up the intricate hem line of this dress.

Gold Sparkles

It's been a while since I've uploaded something... well here was a gown I got custom made fitted from top to toe shipped from China. Since our Aussie $ is down, I paid approximately $350 (shipping all inclusive), and am pretty happy with the shipment I got.
If anyone is interested in gowns and elegant dresses, I would recommend this seller "huifangzou" from eBay, they are reliable and they communicate very well to their buyers.

P.S the fur shawl in the first photo was hand made by my Mother :D

Organza

OOTD for another warm Saturday at the office, something casual, feminine, longish and flawy.

TOP: it says "Kenzo" but it's a knock off found in my cousins wardrobe (material is very thin, so the skin toned slip covered me up pretty well).
SKIRT: Printed Organza skirt from Portmans ($17 from the faulty rack! mum fixed the zipper and it's good as new).
ACCESSORIES: Vintage Ferragamo bag (love the gold chain on this bag) & belt.
Heels: Givenchy dual toned heels
