I really wanted to re-wear this old navy number again but because of my skinny stature I needed to find something that could cover up my collar bones... Which this white crop did nicely without covering up the intricate hem line of this dress. 

Melbourne Design Market - Featuring Orbitkey

Melbourne Design Market was something really random I wouldn't think I would go to, but since my friend who's now turned "key enthusiast" was part of it, I just went along for support. I am so proud of these "Orbitkey" guys, they pulled in an amazing crowd with one product, I guess good things do come in small packages. Other stalls came with an abundant of things, but seemed more quiet. 

Their product is a key organiser/holder to put it simply. Check out the link if you want to know more about the product! hehehe And ofcourse I love the idea and product, I've bought multiple of them and loving how they function and work (quality is great too). 

Orbitkey - best crowd ever, they were so popular

 Nudio Studio - if you like your lace up leather shoes, I do recommend giving this a try, they felt and looked great, if only I had larger feet to fit into mens shoes... Their shoes usually retail for $120/$140, but they had a stall sale for $75 a pair today. 

 Bailey Nelson had an amazingly awesome range of sunglasses and glasses, I fell in love with the majority

Obag - looked durable and convenient for the coming Summer, I love their design and colour selection.

 this was one of my many favourites at this market - Ultimaker^2: an affordable 3D printer, the integrity of the print was very durable, precise and sturdy.

Asymmetric

Another work OOTD. I tend to find a lot of clothing from overseas  as it fits me well and they always have my size (especially Asia, or USA cause only a minority is petite there). 

The brand N&M is based in Vietnam, their designs are very simple and great for the working environment hence I tend to visit every time I return. The top I'm wearing was about $15AUD, which is a little pricey when converted to VND, but again its a staple item in my wardrobe for those warmer days in Melbourne and I've warned it for the past 2 years. 

Simple Autumn OOTD

It's been a while since I've posted something and my new years resolution was to be more consistent with online postings, but its taken me till now to finally post something... so disappointed :(

All Black

Hi! How are you doing?

I don’t know why I wore all black yesterday, I liked all the different textures I had on. I wore this to work which seemed appropriate enough.

This top had been in my wardrobe for over 7 years since my Uni days, made with see through material, button cuffs, open stand up pleated collar and puffy shoulders (another of mum’s creation), the cotton singlet inside was a gift.

Silk black tulip skirt seemed right in this combo, and to finish it off I added the 70% off Cue Belt.

Flapper & Dapper

Review Flapper dress / Louis Vuitton Vernis Clutch / Nine West Pumps

Flapper, the era of the 1920’s, describing of young birds learning to flap their wings. Wearing short skirts, bobby hairstyles drinking, listening and dancing to jazz, smoking, wearing excessive makeup, and treating sex as the norm (less limitations and taboo).

Flapper dresses were straight and loose, leaving the arms bare and dropping the waistline to the hips.

Here’s what I found at “Review” (Australian Brand) where they’ve made a great rendition of a so called “modern Flapper”, and “Dapper” for the classic clean cut with sequined arrow and diamond pattern, decorated with false crystals and rhinestones, and a very low cut “V-Neck” line. Its part of their limited edition line in 2012 and this pastel teal colour makes my day just a little cooler ;) in our summer sun.

I added my Louis Vuitton Vernis Clutch as an accessory and on my foot is a pair of grayish nude pair of pumps from Nine West.

Coach Sunglasses / GLASSON WISH YOUWERE HERE Swim wear

I’ve just arrived back in Melbourne from an end of year trip in Sydney, Cairns and Port Douglas. Our hotel apartment had a few good pools in Port Douglas, so what did we do once we found ourselves in the midst of all that glorious smelting sun?

I got myself into this poolside silhouette classic black and white polka dot one piece cut and started posing LOL! It’s a rare site for me to be in bathers, due to my embarrassing no bust flat silhouette frame. And am not a fan of tanning, its just the culture I’ve been brought up in, it’s taught me beauty is when you’re purely white inside and out – stuff that mumbo jumbo! Tan or not, I’m going in for a swim (even though I don’t know how to).   

I love this one piece, it reminds me of the era when female became more liberated with their bodies, showing off what great curves they had. It’s of vintage and retro flash back to the 1940s and 1950s, this great rendition of a piece was bought from “GLASSON” on special for $25 (last size 6, bargain! It made my day). This was from their 2012 Swimwear Collection under the brand “WISH YOUWERE HERE”.
