Lace On Lace

#OOTD
Top: button up white lace crop top (unknown brand)
Dress: Thurley navy lace dress
Shoes: Two toned Zara Heels

I really wanted to re-wear this old navy number again but because of my skinny stature I needed to find something that could cover up my collar bones... Which this white crop did nicely without covering up the intricate hem line of this dress.

Prints on White

White Lace Top | Midi Skirt | Zara Two Toned Sandal Heels | Black Ferragamo Belt | Ralph Lauren Sunglasses

Travelling and playing dressy dressy isn't my forte, but here goes... I am at a resort which includes a large theme park, we walked around a little then returned to the beach at the hotel (Vinpearl Resort). The midi keeps it conservative and cool in this heated weather, the mid sandal heels were comfy and I love white :)

Flared

Saba White White Top | David Lawrence Midi Tight Flared Skirt | Nine West Zelexa Black Wedges | Ferragamo Belt | H&M Fitted Blazer

Office OOTD:
So I sit and stand all day at work (like most office people do), hence its never a good idea to flash myself therefore this A-line tight flared Midi Skirt will hide all inappropriateness. This midi is one of my favourite buys last winter as it fitted well, made with thick stretchy material making it easy to move in, and it's got minimal seams (seamless hemline). I didn't think I could find something I'd like at David Lawrence, I guess I was wrong, I only stepped into that shop because it had an extra further 40% off the sale prices, personally I thought this brand was designed for older more conservative ladies. This was a $44 item, the last time I checked they still had the sale and stock on their shelves at DFO Essendon

You can't see the details of the white top but its also designed with unfinished seam lines, sticking with the minimalistic theme I paired it with this skirt and added the black belt to tie it all together (my waist don't need to be more cinched, but that is the purpose of most belts).

Wedges are my favourite type of heels to wear all day as it gives me height and keeps me comfy. To finish off I would never leave the house without a jacket or scarf in Melbourne as our weather is very temperamental.

Engineered Lace Shift

Hi! How are you doing?

I love anything white and delicate, especial French lace dresses, this isn’t “Lover” the label but it’s darn similar to one at a fraction of the cost. This is an Engineered Lace Shift Dress by Portmans with intricate detail. Its RRP is about $119, this was on the faulty rack at DFO South Wharf (Melbourne) for $50, and luckily it was a size 6AU (last one). This wasn’t a faulty item, it was missing an inside slip (but I have plenty of that in my wardrobe) hence I got it for only $25 (50% the sale price) for a missing slip. Happy as daisy!
You could dress this up by wearing heels or dress it down by wearing sandals. Comfy for all day, I wore this to work and to a travel expo, but some choose to wear this to weddings. Everyone’s entitled to their own style, so be yourself and dress however you want to dress. There is no rule in fashion.

What’s your bargain story?

Do you have a mum that tailors to your needs? Mine not only does, she also source out material and the latest fashion cut to make me items like above. The belt was from Cue 70% sales rack and of course another Nine West patent pumps (I love Nine West – they do great fit for small size foot and they are very comfortable).
