TOP: Cream sleeveless embroidered button down top from the street markets in Vietnam

Emperor's Cream Puffs

Emperor's Garden Cake & Bakery on Urbanspoon

Emperor's Garden Cake & Bakery makes awesome bread, egg tarts and cream puffs. Where there’s a line at a small window, jump in the queue, it doesn’t take long to get to the front - it’s worth the wait, and prices are just right just like the taste!  I haven’t tried much, but I’m a fan of these cream puffs, every time I visit Sydney I would try to get my hands on them

Wool 'n' Lace

Portmans Dress | Geiger Tyrol Cropped Wool Jacket | Zara two toned sandal heels

DFO Portmans always have great bargains, I bought this black midi lace dress + slip for only $30AUD last week. But if I had to review this dress I wouldn't recommend it to anybody, because:
  • material is very tough - hard to move in
  • the arm pit and shoulder cut is too large, it makes the dress look un-proportional (even my seamstress mother was in a pickle when I told her to fix it for a perfect fit, she said she didn't want to bother because it was more time consuming to fix then buying a different $30 dress, she told me to return it). I had to roll/scrunch up the sleeves to make it look fitted
  • hem was sealed tight - easy fix would be to cut the dress shorter, remove the seal... so I can walk freely without looking like a prissy bowlegged chicken.

Austria's Geiger Tyrol boiled wool cropped jacket with pearl buttons (I love vintage pieces) - this added some texture and brightened up the blackness. This was an incidental finding, I was actually looking for merino wool socks and stubbled upon this on eBay, which cost me $40 with shipping, but I'm happy with the purchase cause its well fitted, comfy and really warm.

If you love genuine Zara shoes, check this eBay seller out: hoicompany2010I got my two toned Zara sandal heels from them for only $59AUD with shipping.
These are pretty comfy but this style runs half a size bigger then expected

GELATO MESSINA FITZROY

Gelato Messina Fitzroy on Urbanspoon

must try ice cream... don't be discouraged by the long line, it's fairly steady, before you could even decide on what you want, you're already at the counter.
They have specials on every week and original flavours, we had caramel, hazelnut, lychee, coconut, chocolate, white chocolate, fudge, apple pie flavoured ice cream. And here I thought I found the ultimate ice cream when I saw Nutella Ferrero Rocher ice cream in Williams Town beach many years ago.
Must try ice cream, and my favourite flavour was lychee and coconut!

Cupcake Central

In no means am I stating that these are the best cupcakes in the world, but this is definitely my favourite cupcake place in Melbourne thus far (its even better then Cupcakes By Paolo which I was pretty impresses with).

This place has the perfect bite size cupcakes and an abundant of flavours to chose from. I don't have a favourite flavour, all has been very good, the texture and moisture is perfect. They even have special flavours only on particular days of the week. If you are vegan or have a special diet, they might have something just for you.

And as for discounts, they have coupons inside the Melbourne Entertainment Book ... buy one get one free - or something like that. Sometimes they have online coupon code or specials as well.

Besides the yumminess, I love their packaging, logos and store decor. Yep this place is certainly in my good books
